We're looking for a motivated Field Service Technician- Drain Tile to join our Columbus team to support fieldwork, assist with projects, and help maintain high-quality standards on-site within our drain tile division. Opportunities to work across other divisions within the company outside core responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with drain tile survey and support, including fieldwork with irregular hours and weekends.
- Perform site preparation, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
- Transport and handle tools, materials, and equipment.
- Provide lab assistance as required to support testing and analysis.
- Travel for drain tile work, with flexibility for irregular hours.
- Support engineers and technicians on-site.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors, travel, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs safely.
- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Earth Work: 1 year (Preferred)
Optional Qualifications:
- Heavy Machinery/ Earth work Experience.
- Non CDL Large Truck Experience.
- Technical Reporting.
Work Schedule:
- Regular hours while in the office.
- Willingness to travel: 75% (Required). Flexible schedule for field travel, including weekends and irregular hours.
- Occasional out-of-state travel for specific projects.
- Weekends as needed
