While we do work across multiple markets, and provide diverse civil engineering services, we are primarily looking for Geotechnical Engineers to perform and lead subsurface investigations for Solar and Wind Farm projects across the United States. We are looking for candidates to work out of any one of our five offices, all of which have at least one PE working locally:

· South Plainfield, NJ

· Austin, TX

· Albany, NY

· Charlottesville, VA

· Columbus, OH

“Must-have” profile of the successful candidate include:

· BS in Civil Engineering, or related degree

· Valid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of transportation

· Ability to travel, for extended periods of times (two to three weeks)

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

“Nice-to-have” skills for the successful candidate may include:

· Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate

· Prior experience with geotechnical investigations, including soil borings, rock coring, and material testing

· Prior experience with geotechnical software (gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, etc.)

· Experience with design of foundations, support of excavation systems, and preparing reports

· Experience with AutoCAD a plus, AutoCAD 3D even better

· Experience in geophysical testing and evaluations, including active and passive MASW and ERI.

· Performing geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, and engineering evaluation and technical analysis

· Preparing technical reports and summaries, and interfacing directly with coworkers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations

· Completing technical analyses, including foundation design, support of excavation, and other engineering evaluations

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
